Apple has started selling Refurbished iPad 2s in the online store. The current discount is just $50 off of the brand-new units price.

Models currently available in the U.S. online store:

• 64 GB Wi-Fi (Both Colors) For $649
• 32 GB Wi-Fi + 3G (all four carrier/color combinations) For $679
• 64 GB Wi-Fi + 3G (all four carrier/color combinations) For $779

The refurbished devices has the same return and warranty policies as the brand-new one’s. The defective part gets replaced, Other components cleaned and new batteries and outer shells getting replaced are all included in the refurbishing process.
